Sunny Yellow Vintage Plate

This plate is a really bright shade of yellow - lovely.

It was given to me by a friend - how lucky am I?

There's an unusual stamp on the back - Edinburgh with what looks like a sketch of the castle, but it was made in England!  Anyone know anything about this - I've looked online but can't find any information.

I've a few more plates to show you next time.
Happy Friday!

Love, Liz

What an unusual backstamp! I love looking up the backstamps when I buy vintage china, but I'm at a loss with that one!

This is so many kinds of wonderful! The squareish shape, the cabbage roses pattern - I love cabbage rose patterns, and this one is very similar to some plates I have, with the large Dutch tulip in the bouquet.

I'd love to see a photo of a bunch of your cabbage rose plates all together! Just a suggestion. :-)

That is a bit odd isn't it? Perhaps Edinburgh moved for an afternoon..
Still, lovely china!
Best wishes
