Pretty vintage linen

I think this is the prettiest vintage linen I have in my collection.

It is a set of three little handkerchiefs with beautiful cut-work and delicate embroidery.

They are wonderfully presented in a box showing a mountain scene presumably Switzerland since that is where they were made.  Another lable reads "Sunlawn"

So delicate and pretty.  I love them.

Love, Liz

Hello Liz.

I hope you and yours are all well.

Really beautiful set and it looks so delicate! I must admit I do like a pretty hanky tucked into a jacket or blouse pocket. Where did you get this find? It looks in spruce condition.
I have been away from blogland for about 10 months;my other life got in the way...sigh!! I got back here in mid July and have been revisting blogfriends since then. Unfortunately there are some bloggers who are gone away...such a pity,so I was really glad to see you pop up on my blog roll. Keep well. Amanda :-). Crafty in the Med

That vintage linen is absolutely delightful, and I love the box they have been packed it too. They certainly don't make them like that anymore! xxx

They are beautiful. I wonder if handkerchiefs like this were actually used or just carried for show? x

That takes me back to my childhood when I was given a box or two of handkerchiefs as presents, you just don't see them any more now .

The box picture alone brings back such memories. It's lovely just to look at such dainty beauty.

OH these are lovely! I've never seen this type of cutwork on hankies before!
