This fish supper is from the best chip shop in Greenock (in my opinion) - Orangefield. Everyone has their own favourite chip shop - this is mine.
A fish supper just isn't the same without the usual accompaniments -
HP Sauce and a can of Irn Bru.
Did you know that in the west of Scotland you will get asked if you want
salt and vinegar on your chips, but in the east its salt and sauce!

Totally agree - fish and chip supper straight out of the paper is an absolute winner - our local fish and chip shop is also a good''un luckily, fantastic chips though as were in Derbyshire rather than Scotland no Irn Bru!! :-(
