Flowers & Fabric

Made a couple of nice finds today!

I came across this very pretty little plate in a charity shop, couldn't believe my luck as lovely things like this are becoming rarer and rarer!

Love the delicate colours.

These curtains were another great find - lovely Winnie the Pooh.

Sorry its unironed!!!!
So what shall I do with the fabric - some nursery cushions and/or some book bags (gosh, I am getting brave!)?  Any other suggestions?

Its a dreary and dismal day here today - when are we going to get some nice weather??????
Hope its not too bad where you are.

Love, Liz

Your plate is a stunning find, Liz! I have to agree that I'm finding it more and more difficult to find pretty china in the charity shops now and I'm having to get my fix on eBay :-(

Lovely WTP fabric too - I'm thinking you could made some lovely notebook covers from it too, and a cushion or two of course!

Very pretty plate - just the sort of thing I'd love to rescue.

As for the curtains - a mix of cushions and bags would be ideal. Love those pics on there - Pooh is a favourite of mine.

That's a lovely plate - the pink, pale blue and yellow are lovely, as is the shape. The Winnie the Pooh fabric would also be great for drawstring bags for laundry for a child's room!

Very pretty plate Liz, and the curtains were a good find too. Weather here far from dismal - too hot to venture out (38 degrees), so sat at the sewing machine with the fan on instead :)

Such lovely plates Liz! And the curtains are just adorable too ~ book bags or bunting would look great I think. And the weather ... It's actually snowing here at the moment! Brrr! Love Brenda
