Around the World

Found some nice things in the charity shop this week.



First is this Wedgwood plate.  I think the pattern is called Florentine.  It has some rather strange decoration - dragons and urns and other weird bits and pieces.  Not sure I'd like to eat my dinner from this!



It appealed to me, nonetheless!


My second find was an atlas from the 1950s (I think).  Interesting to read about the industries in the UK, now sadly diminished.


I particularly like the photographs of some major cities - Sydney
