Cushion and Card

I've been wanting to make some cards for ages, so when I needed a birthday card for a friend, I decided to go ahead and make one.  This is what I made - hope she likes it.

Also made a little cushion with some fabric scraps and a little cross stitch piece I completed ages ago.

Amazing what you can do when in a crafty mood!

Love, Liz

The card is so pretty I am sure who ever you give it to will be thrilled. And the little cross stitch cushion is adorable.(-: I haven't done cross stitching for a while and it really is fun to do; I will have to try it again. Have a happy day.

I love them both. The card is fantastic. So much nicer to receive a hand made card than a mass produced one that costs a fortune! M x

Lovely card Liz. The cushion is delightful too. I like combining cross-stitch and fabrics. Did you see the one I made for my for my friend here?

Both so lovely! I love the combination of images on the card and the cross-stitch with the complementary fabric border is great - and a good way to have the cross-stitch on display.
