What a day!
It hasn't stopped raining for a few days now and Greenock is badly affected by flooding. Hubby couldn't get to work and Son#2 who only works in the next town couldn't get there either because the roads and pavements are flooded!
Schools have been closed, trains from Glasgow are stopping at Port Glasgow because the line is flooded at Greenock, and many shops are shut too!
And ............ its still raining!
Anyone got a spare canoe?

Sorry to hear your having bad weather. We have it almost the same. It has been raining here 3 days and should rain one more. We don't flood too bad though. We live in the flat prairie. it sure is soggy though! Hope your weather gets better soon.

Oh blimey that does sound awful. I hope your house is on higher ground?
The weather here today is just grey & very windy - the 3 leaves that were left on the trees have gone and those on the ground are swirling around - for once I'm happy to be confined to indoors!
The rain has just started here this afternoon, coming down sidewards sometimes,hope the dogs can keep their legs crossed for a bit longer!

Rain back on here this evening - it is the high tides that are causing problems too. I heard on the radio about how bad you were getting it over there. Hope you manage to stay dry and cosy. xx

We have been sent the rain too! A day in doesn't sound all bad, I hope the fellas enjoyed the time at home. Hope the weather has improved for you all, flooding is terrible, I hope you remain safe.
