Sunset and Roses

Sunset and roses .......... shouldn't that be moonlight and roses?

Well, that was the name of a song from many, many years ago - but today I want to show you this gorgeous plate which I found in a local charity shop.  It is by Paragon and is called Sunset.

I just had to get some yellow roses.

I wasn't sure about this plate at first, but I find that I like it more and more each day.

I've been quite lucky with my finds recently, which usually means that I'm in for a few lean weeks!  Do you find that it is either a famine or a feast as far as great finds are concerned?

Have a great weekend.

Love, Liz

I have been increasingly drawn to yellow lately. Vintage yellow roses on a plate - adorable. Love your yellow roses too. x

Lovely plate, Liz. That was a super find, especially as plates like that are getting harder to find I reckon. Great styling with those roses too.

I find that it is either famine or a feast, but it looks like my famine came to an end this week with a super buy - I'll be blogging about it at the weekend ;-)

Have a lovely weekend xxx

I love yellow roses! I find that thrifting is feast or famine for me as well. Some weeks, my hands are full with finds, some weeks I come home wishing I could have found at least one thing!
Have a great week Liz!

I love the yellow rose plate and the roses too! In our local charity shops I find that its pretty thin on the ground most weeks and the prices on some items are just so expensive!

Paragon have some of the most gorgeous patterns, very envious of this as my china collection is somewhat lacking in Paragon! :-)

oooh that's lovely, I have a matching cup and saucer. I love yellow roses, second only to china with red roses!

It's famine pretty much all the time in our local charity shops, I'm afraid! Glad you found some sunshine-y treasure!

Love it! Yellow roses on a plate you do not find too often.

Absolutely gorgeous. Perhaps it is worth finding a lovely floral dish each week to keep flowers in the house. Smiles...Renee

Definitely feast and famine when it comes to buying.
At the moment it seems to be meagre pickings for the things I want here in Northumberland.
Keep looking though...

Lovely! You know how I love pretty plates! And yellow roses are the best - I prefer them to red.
