Shunshine Yellow

At last - I found some vintage sheets!

Not only did I find them, but they are unused.   Two Dorma double flat sheets and pillowcases in this lovely sunny yellow pattern.

And, with them, all in the same bundle, another double St Michael flat sheet in trendy yellows and browns - this one is also unused!  The patterns are very similar, so I suppose the charity shop ladies thought they were part of a set.

Result!

I suppose I could make a douvet cover from two of the flat sheets and still have one left to cut up and use for bits and pieces ... hmmm!

groovy baby!
Happy sunny Sunday to you all.

Love, Liz

Oh they are groovy baby! I'm always on the lookout for vintage sheets and have found practically NONE. Nothing very nice anyway. I can imagine your excitement!

Definetely groovy Liz. I love them.
Would you believe I passed up on four lovely vintage sheets today! I hesitated for a few seconds but then my better judgement kicked in. I mean how many vintage sheets does one girl need? (is that a silly question?) I'm sure someone else was thrilled to find them.

Just gorgeous Liz! And just my colours. I love it when you've waited ages for something and then it turns up.

They'll last for years. Let me tell you I still have a pair of Dorma sheets and pillowcases, probably from the same era, still going strong when the M&S ones have long given up the ghost!

Liz - I've got the pillow case for the second sheet! Well done finding them unused. Mine must have faded quite a bit as the label has faded loads. I love the yellow florals.

What a find! I too found a pair of the yellow M&S ones in a charity, nicely soft and faded.
