Big Squares and Little Squares

I'm glad I decided to go with blue as the edging colour for my crochet.

Because I'm making a sofa throw I am going to make it up with squares of four different sizes.  Usually I make baby blanket which are much smaller.

Really enjoying using every yarn colour in my collection.

I've been sewing in the ends as I go along so that I don't have them all to do at the end - it is such a chore!

Love, Liz

What lovely bright colours. I've just started a granny square project, too, lots of different squares, but all the same size, in shades of blue. Am so enjoying crocheting again after months of not picking up my hook at all.

It's very colourful and going to look great when all sewn together. I've learnt my lesson and sew in the ends as I go along.

I love crochet, but sewing in the ends not so much, so I agree with you that doing it as you go is a good idea! Looking forward to seeing more of your blanket! xx

This pattern for throws is among my favorite, and your color choice is spot on.

That is a striking blue Liz. Nice choice. :)
I did granny squares for a blanket and finished them in black because the colours of the yarn was really bright. It looked terrific. Unfortunately, I don't think I've got one picture of any of it!
Looking forward to when you've got it all together. It will look awesome. :)
