Pretty Welsh Souvenir Plate

Found this lovely little Welsh souvenir plate in a charity shop yesterday.  My first find for ages!

The edging is just so pretty and delicate.

Its by the Lord Nelson Pottery.

I love the picture of the Welsh ladies sitting drinking tea in traditional costume.

Talking about Wales - I love the new BBC TV series Hinterland - dark, but fabulous!

Love, Liz

What a gorgeous plate, I'm so envious of your cs finds! You've got a good eye for great finds. Loving Hinterland too as well as Happy Valley and Prey as well.

hello Liz

I so need a beautiful find like this!! I despair of the market I go to every third Sunday of the month. There is so much modern junk and very little china. It has been three months since I've found a decent china find.
I just love that rim engraving around that plate! enjoy!

Such a pretty plate! I often look at the decorative plates in the thrift shop here, but don't find anything nearly as nice as this. Wendy x
