Hanging on to summer!

I thought I'd take these photographs of my kitchen dresser as it is now, because I know that once the days start to get a bit darker and more dreich here in Greenock, I'll get the urge to change everything around!

I usually group by colour and mix old with new.

But not always!

Sometimes I just get a feeling when things look right together (in my opinion).  Keeping this pretty summery theme for a wee while longer - got to hang on to the sunshine while it lasts and it is a lovely day here.

Hope you are having a good day.

Love, Liz

I love the idea of pictures/postcards at the back. I may copy that idea if you don't mind :-)

If your Winters are as long there as our are here I can understand why you hold onto Summer as long as you can! I love your vignette of tins. Are those flowery Kath Kidsons? Or Greengate?

Strangely enough after all the rain yesterday, today is bright and sunny and dare I say warm. I love your wonderful eclectic mix of old and new on your dresser, really charming.

It's been a lovely sunny day here too and looking at your shelves has lengthened the day for me - so bright and summery. Lovely.
