Vintage Violet

What could be nicer that some lovely floral vintage china on this special Mothering Sunday.

This gorgeous set is by Royal Vale, and was made in England.  The violet flowers are just so pretty!

It is one of my favourites.

The larger plate is by Phoenix China.

Florals and gingham - perfect!

Hope you are having a wonderful day.

Love, Liz

May I wish you a belated Happy Mothering Sunday?

I am very tardy in having a look at lovely posts like yours.

The cup and saucer with the violets is a gem. I have been an avid collector of tea cups and saucers, using my collection as subjects for my paintings. Perhaps I now have enough in my collection to never need to buy another...but I admit that I still see many that I'd like to add to my collection.

Violets always remind me of my later mother in law, she was a huge fan of them in every way.
