Does Santa Read Blogs?

Do you think Santa reads blogs?  I hope so!
It is so dark and dismal here in Greenock that I can't get on with my cross stitch!

I think that what I really need is one of those craft lights - you know, the ones with a daylight bulb and are lovely and bright. I've been reasonably good all year ..... well, most part of it anyway!  So perhaps Santa will bring me a much needed pressie!

I tell you what - the old eyesight isn't as good as it used to be - sewing white on white is just a nightmare!  Having a look at these photos has shown me a couple of missed stitches - oh no! (Perhaps I need to add a magnifying glass to my list as well!!!!)

Love, Liz

I hope Santa is good to you and you get what your are hoping. I will add that I got lucky at a car boot sale wit a light and magnifier and it really does make a difference.

You really should treat yourself if Santa doesn't bring you one. I got a daylight lamp in the sale and couldn't be without it now. Even on the gloomiest days I can do my knitting or cross stitch. Xx

I know what you mean about certain creative pursuits needing more and more light. The current very shortened daylight hours really do change my painting and knitting...even reading.

Yes, maybe Santa does read blogs (perhaps using his own pair of reading glasses) and will bring us some magical lamps. Or is that the job for a genie? xo
