Oh such pretty embroidered flowers! And in such good condition. They never seem to have vintage linens in my local charity shops, which is why I'm so grateful for the local antiques and flea market! The china is gorgeous too!Great finds as usual Liz, have a great weekend. Gill xx
They DO look beautiful together, Liz. Funnily enough, I just bought a similar embroidered tablecloth in a charity shop for a friend's birthday, she loves her vintage china too and I thought exactly as you did that they would make a delightful combination! xxx
Beautiful linen - I remember doing embroidery like this when I was little - chain stitch, lazy daisy, stem stitch et al, and so many people just throw these things aside now - what a shame that, in the main, youngsters are not taught to do this sort of thing now! So many hours of creative enjoyment.
HELLO LIZ,discovered you recently,I LOVE vintage china and embroidered linen,I have a flea market every Thursday where I live and it's the highlight of my week to browse and buy! This week I got a BEAUTIFUL blue vase with hints of pink in the lustre. There's a photo on my blog if you have time to pop over,Kind regards Pam.

Hello Liz:
Both your china and the floral linen are so very pretty and they do look exceedingly good together. Perfect for a proper Afternoon Tea!!

What a perfect match - now you need a pot of nice tea and some home made cake to decorate them!
Lovely vintage combination x

They are just so beautiful. They look new! Love the way the doilies coordinate with your teacups - inspired shopping!
It's really beautiful. Being in such good condition you wonder if it's original owner only used it for special occasions.
Oh, so pretty! They resemble me the ones I have - also linen, with embroidered delicate flowers, and of same shape. I bought them in Belarus
