Crochet Grannies - Blue and Lilac

I've just finished another crochet baby blanket.

This time I've used white with shades of blue and lilac.  It measures 24" (62cm) by 29" (74cm).

Although I've only used five colours, I pride myself on the fact that there are no two squares the same!  I'm actually getting a bit obsessive about this and have been known to undo a square if I discover I've done one the same!  Oh dear!

Joining with Lakota for Ta-Da! Tuesday - come over and see who else is showing off finds and makes this week.

Love, Liz

Another gorgeous design - I'm certain it will be much loved and snuggled. And I'm impressed by your no-repeat guarantee!

I really like the colours you chose and the fact you made each square different really makes it unique. It means even if you made another, it wouldnt be exact. Something lovely about that! x

Dear Liz

Liz I love the pastel shades in this. I must get started on some granny squares. I saw that Lakota made you think of cross-stitching. Oddly enough mine's a cross-stitch story too. I haven't seen any of yours on here for a while but don't you think its always the way? We crafty people get the bug for one craft for a while and the others gets neglected? Never enough hours in the day - and I'm retired!

This is lovely Liz, you certainly are a prolific crocheter. Another one done already & gorgeous colours. My squares are all random too but that's more to do with the odds & sods of wool I'm using. I've still got a long way to go though.

Beautiful crochet work. I've made several afghans similar to yours and love everyone of them. Yarn Therapy is so much cheaper and more effective than a psychiatrist! -- Jan

That's brilliant, you are very clever! I want to start crochet, so far all I have done is brought some hooks! Think I'm a long way away from creating something as good as that x
